LA junk removal
questions, answered.
Pricing, garage cleanouts, same-day, what we take. Still stuck? Text us at (213) 451-5865 — English, español, or Korean.
How does pricing work?
Flat, photo-quoted. Send a photo and we price every item up front from real LA market data — e.g. sofa $126, queen mattress $103, refrigerator $164. Big jobs are priced by the truck: $241 (1/4) to $732 (full 16-yard truck). $75 minimum. The price you see is the price you pay.
Do you do garage cleanouts?
Constantly — in LA the garage is the basement. We clear decades of boxes, old furniture, appliances, and exercise equipment with easy street-level loading. Priced as truck-fill, quoted up front.
Can you handle Hollywood Hills and hillside estate cleanouts?
Yes — narrow hillside roads, no driveways, and tricky access are routine. We stage carefully, do discreet whole-home and estate cleanouts, and route fine furniture to donation or consignment.
Can you provide a COI for my building?
Yes. DTLA, Koreatown, Century City and Marina del Rey buildings almost always require a certificate of insurance naming the HOA or management company as additional insured before the service elevator is released. We issue the COI ourselves — same day, at no charge — and reserve the elevator and loading-dock window with the front desk. Our coverage: General Liability $1M per occurrence · $2M aggregate; Umbrella/Excess $2M · $5M; Workers’ Compensation $1M each accident. Your building is added as additional insured, coverage is primary and non-contributory, and a waiver of subrogation applies.
Can you do same-day pickup?
Often yes, when a slot is open. Send a photo and we'll quote the soonest window across central LA, the Westside, and the near Valleys.
¿Hablan español? Do you offer Korean service?
Sí. Spanish-speaking crews for East LA, Boyle Heights, and beyond, and Korean-friendly service in Koreatown, available on request.
What do you take?
Furniture, mattresses, appliances, electronics, exercise equipment, construction/renovation debris, garage and full-home or estate cleanouts. We can't take hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, propane) — ask us and we'll point you the right way.
How do I pay?
Securely online by card at checkout (powered by Stripe). Paying up front reserves your crew and locks your price — no haggling or awkward payment at the door.
What's your cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before your scheduled pickup window, refunded to your original payment method.
Are there hidden fees for stairs, hillside access or disposal?
No. A flight of outdoor stairs up to a Silver Lake house, a long carry from a canyon street where the truck can't park close, the tip fee at the transfer station — all inside the flat quote. No per-flight charge, no fuel surcharge. Only finding materially more than the photos showed changes the number, and you approve it first.
Isn't bulky-item pickup free from the city?
LA Sanitation will take a limited number of bulky items a year from the curb if you can get them there and wait for the appointment. It won't take construction debris, it won't come up your driveway, and it won't help with a hillside house where the curb is thirty steps down. A sofa with us is $126, a queen mattress $103, and truck loads run $241 to $732.
Do I need to move it to the curb?
No. Carrying it down from the second floor, out of the garage or up from a hillside lower level is the job. Leave it where it is.
Does the quote change when the crew arrives?
Not for what you photographed. If the garage turns out to be full behind the door, they re-price from the same published list and wait for your yes.
What's included in the price?
Labor, the carry-out, loading, the drive and the disposal or recycling fee, plus a certificate of insurance for your building at no charge. The quoted total is what gets charged.
Do you donate or recycle?
Where a piece is genuinely reusable it goes to a local reuse outlet, and metal, appliances and electronics are separated for recycling. Estate clear-outs often contain a lot that's past saving, and we'll tell you rather than imply a donation.
Are you insured, and will a building accept the certificate?
Yes — General Liability $1M per occurrence and $2M aggregate, an Umbrella/Excess layer of $2M and $5M aggregate, and Workers' Comp. DTLA and Century City management offices get the certificate naming them as additional insured the same day they ask.
Can you do it while I'm out?
Yes when the load is reachable — a gate code, a garage, a marked pile at the top of the driveway. We text photos of the cleared spot afterwards.
