California bans electronics from the landfill, so a TV, monitor, or computer has to go to a certified e-waste recycler — and the old CRT and projection sets contain leaded glass that has to be handled properly. We carry it out and route it (plus any monitors and computers) to e-waste recycling. The heavy old sets nobody else will lift are the same flat price.
Most LA TV jobs are easy home pickups; for the big old console sets we bring the people to move them. For apartments and the Downtown and Century City high-rises, we dismount the wall set, book the freight elevator, and file the Certificate of Insurance. There's no surcharge for stairs, hills, or a high floor, and we cover the whole basin.
